Our services include original cataloging, copy cataloging, physical processing, retrospective conversion and reclassification. We do not currently offer PCIP services. Because we know you want to ensure that you are getting the best product and expertise available when considering the use of any cataloging agency, we will be happy to provide test records for any project at the very outset and before any contracts are signed.

Please inquire about additional languages not listed. Original records for all non-Roman scripts will have vernacular included. Vernacular for copy can be provided.
LCS provides cataloging for all formats, including books (including legal materials, government documents, technical reports and dissertations), cartographic materials, continuing resources, electronic resources, graphic materials, manuscripts, microforms, realia, scores, sound recordings (both spoken and musical, including classical music) and videorecordings.
LCS follows the cataloging practices and provisions of RDA and can apply AACR2r cataloging practices should they be requested by the library. Authority control is provided for in original cataloging prices.
Classifications available include LCC (Library of Congress Classification), DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification) and NLM (National Library of Medicine).
Subject headings available include LCSH (Library of Congress Subject Headings), Bilindex, MeSH (NLM's Medical Subject Headings) and Sears. Local subject headings may also be applied.
MARC records can be delivered directly into local systems or via email, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, or whatever works best for you.
